Permission

Hello there, I hope this day finds you well, if not though and it’s all a bit of a strug I do hope that this little thought will help you some.

I want to talk about Permission. Do you ever or often experience those days where everything just feels harder, like you are wading through sludge, you are dragging a large heavy weight around with you that is just slowing you right down. What is often happening on these days is that you have and inner conflict going on, one part of you is wanting to get on with the to do list while another part of you is struggling. It is this struggling part that I want to address today.

This is the part of you that is in resistance to the moments as they arise, it is either tired, in pain mentally emotionally or physically, it is in need of something that it isn’t receiving from you. We will find ourselves wishing we didn’t have to do what we needed to, we will be wishing for a different moment than the one we are experiencing…..well guys what are you waiting for? Sometimes it is Permission, permission to say No, permission to rest, permission to take some time back for yourself…whatever it is that you are seeking permission for don’t wait for someone else to give it to you! Instead take the action that you need to give that part of yourself that is struggling what it needs.

It’s actually really important because these are signs of burnout and exhaustion and if you don’t address it now it will address you. Sometimes you will need to talk it through with someone you trust who will listen to bring you clarity on what it is and sometimes you just need to decide. With practice it gets easier I promise.
